Jefferson Farmers Market is starting a market on Charles Street from 5-9pm, in Charles Town on every third Thursday of the week from July 15th until October. As well as there is a Farmers Market at the Jefferson County fair( August 22-28) Sunday 1-6pm Weekdays 4-9pm Saturday 12-9pm.

The National Capital Farms (NCF) Web site is the public communication and membership venue for the Metropolitan Washington Regional Agricultural Workgroup and supported by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments Department of Environmental Programs through grant funding from the Prince Charitable Trusts and MARPAT Foundation, Inc.
The Regional Agricultural Workgroup’s mission is to help promote and support agriculture within an approximately 150 mile radius of the nation’s capital. Since its creation in 2006, the Workgroup has been actively pursuing approaches that better support farms, farmers, agricultural programs and the marketing of local products in the Washington, DC area.
